Thanks to our Nepal connections the following request from an interested customer reached us. Could you manage to collect old Nepalese and Chinese banknotes for me? We have tried to make an overview of different banknotes. It turned out to be more difficult than expected because banknotes not in use were hard to get. The banknotes are wearing out fast and therefore not anymore in stock. Nevertheless we’ve managed to make a complete collection of Nepalese and Chinese banknotes.

For our customer Bibi d’Or we have upon their special request made 2.000 business cards, on extra thick, Nepalese handmade paper. This handmade paper is called “Lokta” paper in Nepal.
Lokta paper is made from a special Lokta plant. This plant is growing on high altitudes above the 3.000 – 4.000 meter. Lokta paper is original white / beige colored.
For the production of the business cards for Bibi d’Or the Lokta paper is bleached and dyed with natural black organic color ingredients. After drying the printing process has been started. The Lokta leaves in the cards are clearly visible and can be felt. Due to the features of the Lokta, this paper will keep its strength, is hardly influenced by moistures, sunlight or fungus.

The final result may be seen.

Bibi d’Or, is being managed by Viviane & Wout Visser. They are mainly occupied with the art of gold- and silversmith. For more than 10 years they are well known for their fine tailor made handcraft.
The assortment consists of: rings, necklaces and other jewellery. But repair work and jewellery of own design is also possible.
